1701 London Printing The Works of the Right Reverend and Learned Ezekiel Hopkins

Printed: London

The Works of the Right Reverend and Learned Ezekiel Hopkins is an 18th-century theological compilation gathering the core writings of Ezekiel Hopkins, the late Lord Bishop of Londonderry in Ireland. This volume collects his major treatises into a single work, containing The Vanity of the World, A Practical Exposition on the Ten Commandments, and An Exposition on the Lord's Prayer featuring a catechistical question-and-answer explication.

The text also features several sermons and discourses addressing various religious subjects, accompanied by a comprehensive alphabetical table for cross-referencing. The collection stands as a primary historical record of the late 17th-century prelate's Anglican sermons and pastoral teachings.
