M. Accii Plauti Comœdiæ is a 17th-century classical edition of the comedies of the ancient Roman playwright Plautus. This volume features interpretations and extensive notes prepared by Jacques de l'Oeuvre (Jacobus Operarius), a priest from Conflans. It was commissioned by order of the Most Christian King (Jussu Christianissimi Regis) for the instruction of the Grand Dauphin of France (In Usum Serenissimi Delphini). This volume represents Pars II (Part 2) of the work.The text compiles the surviving classical Latin comedic plays of Plautus, complete with scholarly annotations and commentaries tailored for the French royal court. It includes the official Royal Privilege (Cum Privilegio Regis) authorized for publication.

This specific volume was published in Paris by Frédéric Léonard (Fredericum Leonard), the official printer to the Dauphin and the French clergy, located on rue Saint-Jacques. The title page features a central decorative woodcut emblem and bears the original Roman numeral date of M. DC. LXXIX. (1679).
